ways to find factors of polynomial

Hello there I have almost taken the decision to hire a algebra private teacher, because I've been having a lot of stress due to math homework this year. Every day when I come home from school I spend all my time with my algebra homework, and in the end I still seem to be getting the incorrect answers. However I'm also not certain if a algebra tutor is worth it, since it's not cheap , and who knows, maybe it's not even so helpful. Does anyone know anything about ways to find factors of polynomial that can help me? Or maybe some explanations about mixed numbers,rational inequalities or difference of squares? Any ideas will be valued.

I agree , a good program can do miracles . I used a few but Algebrator is the best . It doesn't matter what class you are in, I myself used it in Remedial Algebra and Basic Math too, so you don't have to be concerned that it's not on your level.
